Mon, 20 July 2009 Welcome to the Satellite Feed! The San Diego Comic Con is just almost here and all the Watchtower satellite crewmen are excited, to say the least. Because of this, we've decided to dedicate this transmission to comics. More specifically comic book based films. ALL OF THEM! That's right, every comic book movie we could possibly think of discussed in one sitting. Spanning from 1966's Batman all the way to 2009's Watchmen. But wait... There's MORE! Not only is this another special edition of the podcast, but Denis has corralled his old co-host Matthew into the fray. Feedback in the form of e-mails & mp3's are welcome at: satellitefeed@hotmail.com Or feel free to follow Denis via Twitter throughout Comic Con at: http://www.twitter.com/satellitefeed Comments[1] |
Wed, 8 July 2009 Hey there loyal listeners,It's been several weeks since the last podcast's been transmitted via the magic of the interweb, but rest assured the Watchtower crew are still hard at work. With the summer time programming in full effect, we didn't want to bore you with podcasts about celebrities in the jungle or who's the best dancer (despite Denis' constant babbling) or backstabbing housemates (again, despite Denis' insistance that he loves Big Brother). Instead, rest assured we're working on making another quality show for release BEFORE the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con International 2009 and once again making plans for Denis to go on location at the aforemention convention to bring back all the juiciest bits of news and entertainment. So don't worry, we're not dead yet (although if Denis doesn't stop rambling about So You Think You Can Dance, we can't be held responsible for his well being). So write in with your thoughts, comments, suggestions to: SatelliteFeed@hotmail.com Also feel free to follow Denis' trivial adventures via Twitter at: http://www.twitter.com/SatelliteFeed Have a week! We also take a glance at the latest fall season with the Satellite Uplink, our news segment. It's been awhile but we hope the wait's been worth it. Tue, 21 April 2009 Welcome to the Satellite Feed! It's been a long time coming, but we've finally gotten the next transmission together for your listening pleasure. Due to time constraints the Watchtower crew has skipped a couple of weeks of television, instead choosing to focus their efforts on what aired between May 30th and April 12th. But what an exceptional 2 weeks it was. Sylar gets himself a new ability and partner on Heroes, and we don't know which is the more dangerous of the two! Fringe returned to grace our television sets with more weird mysteries. Lost delves deeper into time travel and the mysteries of the Island than even we could have imagined. Smallville inches itself closer and closer to Doomsday. And last but not least Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles wraps up it's second season with episodes that can only be described by using a made up word: scrumtrilescent! We'll be back in one week covering all the latest television coverage from April 13th through 26st and we'll be officially all caught up. As always feedback in the form of E-Mails or MP3's are always welcome at: satellitefeed@hotmail.com Also feel free to follow Denis in his every day life with Twitter at: www.twitter.com/SatelliteFeed Comments[1] |
